Role Mission:

You'll play a crucial role in working with our Customers & Partners to sell the whole of Schneider's portfolio. You will work within a professional environment, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of the business. This could include working in different departments, projects and locations across the Country, our aim is to welcome the next generation of technical salespeople through the business to support our ever-growing portfolio of technical products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gain solid engineering fundamentals around Schneider Electric products and solutions
- Offer Support - Select products & develop solutions for our customers and interpret detail technical specifications and drawings.
- Customer Interactions - Visit customer sites to better understand their needs and how Schneider can support.
- Pipeline management - Run robust pipeline management across the own area and ensure a short-, medium- and long-term view of projects - selling 'Schneider End to End' and that the mix of offers aligns with Channel/Segment available marker.
- Key customer relationships - Develop, hold, and nurture key customer relationships.
- CRM excellence - ensure you are a leader in CRM use, documenting all customer interactions and management of opportunities, a culture of CRM excellence should be embedded and part of your DNA
Apprenticeship Details:
- UK Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship Programme
- Electrical Technical Support Engineer - Awarded a BEng (Hons) Applied Professional Engineering
- You will be required to attend The University of Warwick, Coventry on a block release for your apprenticeship training.
- Training Providers could be subject to change based on availability of course or organisational needs.
- Course Information
Training:
During your apprenticeship, you will receive two different types of training.
'On-the-job' training will be delivered by Schneider Electric, as your employer. You'll receive training and supervision to help you perform the job you've hired to do. This will include skills and knowledge that fall outside of the apprenticeship but are needed for the job role. As well as providing 'on-the-job' training, it is important that we are supporting you in additional ways to ensure your success.
Types of support will include:
- A comprehensive induction
- Mentoring or regular one-to-one guidance
- Social enrichment and networking opportunities
- Performance reviews
- Mental health and wellbeing support
- Feedback opportunities
'Off-the-job' training is delivered by one of our carefully selected Training Providers during your normal working hours. You will spend at least 20% (average 6 hours per week) of your working hours completing 'off-the-job' training. This is protected time and is a requirement for apprenticeship delivery. This training will teach you the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the apprenticeship standard so you can achieve occupational competence.

- Understanding on basic Microsoft applications I.e. Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.

Desirable
- Work experience or volunteering experience whilst studying.
Education Requirements:
Entry to the programme of study is through demonstration of a minimum of 112 tariff points. Applicants must also hold GCSE grades in Math's, English and additional STEM subject at grades C/4, or above. Disciplines studied post-GCSE must include any Engineering or relevant STEM subjects (Physics recommended). In addition to the required entry tariff applicants must have also achieved an A level in Math's at grade B
