Technical Project Manager (AI Data Center Project)

  • Take full ownership and responsibility for the successful delivery of the project.
  • Identify and interpret customer change requests to manage variation orders effectively
  • Lead the monitoring and control of project performance throughout the project lifecycle. Key activities include verifying task completion, monitoring the project team, managing communication and exchange of project updates among team members, schedule reporting, issue resolution, and contract administration
  • Track and report project progress to customers and management in a timely manner, including updates on submittals/approvals, costs, schedules, manpower, procurement, and quality issues
  • Monitor execution of customer project orders through kick-off meetings, effective communication with all parties, exchange of technical requirements and project plan information, and oversight of factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, and site energization preparation
  • Control, monitor, and forecast costs to ensure financial commitments, revenue, and invoicing meet company sales forecasts
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule, communicating directly with the customer on-site to ensure expectations are met. Engage directly with third-party vendors as required.
  • Attend customer meetings, promptly follow up on inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing positive feedback and practical solutions. Plan and manage work schedules for projects under your responsibility
  • Manage, control, and supervise site activities, including preparation of method statements, site risk assessments, liaising with customer safety personnel, and providing guidance and instructions to vendors for installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Support and lead project engineers in large or complex project situations
  • Confidently conduct REL3 and above-level stakeholder meetings, providing accurate and reliable data.
  • Perform timely project reviews with the Project Leader, providing accurate updates of Schedule, Goals, and Variances (SGV)
  • Lead project closeout activities, including financial reconciliation, verification of job site equipment arrival, installation, start-up, and training completion by reviewing internal system information and coordinating with customers and training functions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in the construction of HVAC and control systems.
  • Proven project management experience in system integration, building management systems (BMS), or ACMV systems.
  • Strong understanding of EPMS, BMS, mechanical, and ACMV control businesses.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Innovative with a strong passion for energy efficiency and building management.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in project management software and financial accounting systems; Microsoft Project proficiency preferred.
  • Results-driven with a strong sales aptitude and high achievement orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective presenter, able to communicate clearly and confidently with customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including within and outside Korea.
  • Experience in project execution within Singapore is an advantage
  • PMI's PMP and/or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification preferred.
