Sustainability Lead - Access to Energy & Foundation Initiatives

Job Purpose
To lead and support Access to Energy (A2E) and Foundation programs in Indonesia, with a focus on driving measurable impact through sustainability initiatives. This role will act as a key liaison between Schneider Electric's commercial teams, the A2E global team, and the Schneider Electric Foundation, while championing youth education and skills development aligned with the future of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Access to Energy Innitiative in Indonesia
- Drive the commercial deployment of A2E solutions to bring clean, affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity .
- Drive impact thru development renewable energy solutions such as solar lanterns, solar home systems, decentralized microgrids, water pumping systems, and solar-powered street lighting.
- Identify and develop collaboration opportunities wih relevant partners, communities and goverment institution with same mission
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability into commercial strategies
- Youth Education & Skills of the Future
- Support and scale programs that equip youth with future-ready skills, particularly in energy, digital, and green technologies
- Partner with vocational schools, NGOs, and government bodies to deliver impactful training programs
- Track and report on outcomes related to youth empowerment and employability
- Liaison & Representation
- Act as the local ambassador for Access to Energy and the Schneider Electric Foundation
- Coordinate with global and regional A2E/Foundation teams to localize and implement initiatives
- Represent the company in sustainability forums, community events, and stakeholder engagements
- Program Management & Reporting
- Ensure timely execution of programs, including budgeting, planning, and monitoring
- Collect and analyze data to measure impact and ensure alignment with sustainability KPIs
- Prepare regular reports and success stories for internal and external communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of experience in driving sustainability, social impact roles
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian sustainability landscape and community development
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills
- Passion for social equity, youth empowerment, and sustainability development
