The Opportunity
Our Gepps Cross Manufacturing Plant are currently seeking an experienced Downstream Planner - Master Production Scheduler to be based in Adelaide, South Australia.Utilizing your proven experience, you will play a key role as you enjoy a new career challenge within a growing section of Schneider.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels of both raw materials and finished goods, aiming to minimize stock outs and overstocking.
- Participating in the S&OP process to align production plans with sales forecasts and overall business objectives.
- Develop and maintain production schedules considering machine capacity and resource availability.
- Analyze and interpret production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Forecast demand and align production plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and logistics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage and optimize production planning processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management: A solid understanding of the overall production process is important.
About You
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing or supply chain.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Advanced/Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
