Role Overview
As a Strategic Key Account Director you will be responsible for leading and expanding strategic relationships with key industrial customers. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong track record in managing complex, multi-country accounts and delivering high-value automation solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing the commercial strategy for strategic industrial segments, ensuring alignment with Schneider Electric's global and regional objectives.
You will lead cross-functional teams across sales, technical, and delivery functions to drive customer success and long-term growth. This role demands a deep understanding of industrial automation technologies, market dynamics, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders at the C-suite level.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic industrial customers.
- Lead the development and execution of Strategic Account Plans across the ASEAN region, with a focus on Thailand.
- Collaborate with Segment and Country leadership to define and implement winning strategies.
- Drive large-scale industrial automation projects from opportunity identification through to execution, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Schneider Electric's value proposition.
- Coordinate and lead virtual teams across Sales, Presales, Tendering, and Execution to deliver integrated solutions.
- Identify key business drivers and emerging trends in the industrial sector to shape customer engagement strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, consulting on digital transformation, automation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Map and influence key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer organizations.
- Ensure best-in-class account management practices, including CRM usage, Customer Project Process (CPP), and sales excellence methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Business; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sales or key account management, preferably in the industrial automation or manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience managing large, complex accounts across multiple geographies.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and IIoT.
- International exposure and experience working in a matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
