Description
Part of the Corporate Strategy, the Strategic Intelligence team is a central global function at Schneider Electric, contributing to build the global strategy of Schneider Electric, mainly focusing on benchmark analysis, competition profiling and market trends.
Strategic Intelligence role is to monitor, analyze and synthesize the global ecosystem and competitive market where Schneider Electric participates, to understand current market/competition dynamics in-depth and anticipate potential moves in the near/mid-term/long-term future, and thus make recommendations.
Main responsibilities
• Research on specific topics with a high level of analysis and synthesis
• Generate studies on mega-trends (market, competition, political, social, technology, ...) with recommendations

• Conduct benchmark studies on players from Schneider Electric ecosystem
Description of the roles & responsibilities
• Business Intelligence
o Monitor competitors' publications including: press release, Capital Market Days and quarterly results and derive:
§ Implications to Schneider Electric's businesses
§ Key themes and areas for investigation and analysis
o Identify, collect, analyze and synthesize all relevant information (macroeconomic, market, competition, field information ...)
o Identify weak signals of the competitive environment, opportunity & threat to Schneider Electric, follow key market evolution
• Manage and deliver studies & synthesis
o Deliver competitive environment studies: collection, analysis, synthesis and communication of strategic information & indicators related to competitors/ propose actions
o Prepare "Executive level" synthesis about general economic environment, competitive moves...
o Create detailed analyses on the strategic, financial, and operational activities of key competitors in coordination with other team members
• Strategic Intelligence Practices & interaction
o Prepare and present concise and insightful written and oral reports of findings to Schneider Electric community
o Interact with Business & Countries Strategy Teams (Strategic Intelligence, Corporate Strategy)
o Contribute to the Strategic Intelligence global community, share & promote/implement good practices
o Contribute to the knowledge database and tools
• Key Performance Indicators
o Quality and quantity of studies and syntheses
o Regular monitoring of key information in the market, dynamics, and strategic moves by players
o On-time deliveries of relevant intelligence to right stakeholders in the group
Qualifications
Key Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related disciplines
• Fluent in English is mandatory, proficiency in Chinese is a plus
• Excellent business acumen and business judgment
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and an ability to effectively communicate with Top management
• Master Internet search & marketing tools, MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint), experience with Tableau and Power BI is a plus
