Sr. Manufacturing Materials Planner

What will you do?

Take the Lead with These Responsibilities:

• Run the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) process within your scope.
• Define and update stock parameters to meet service level goals while optimizing inventory levels.
• Manage purchase order portfolios, analyze stock discrepancies, and perform necessary adjustments.
• Ensure timely material replenishment (raw materials, components, and finished goods).
• Use MRP to balance resources and demand, ensuring stock availability at the right time and place.
• Collaborate closely with Upstream and Downstream Planning Leaders and Supply & Inventory Planners based in Japan.
• Support administrative tasks and contribute to customer success through effective vendor and stakeholder management.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials planning or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP (SD and MM modules), MRP processes, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP etc).
• Bilingual proficiency (Japanese and English).
• Experience in vendor management and customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and with stakeholders in the East Asia region.
• Familiarity with HMI products is a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset

• Proven experience in materials planning, procurement, or supply planning.

• Ability to manage customer inquiries and perform administrative tasks effectively.
