Sr. Manufacturing Materials Planner

What will you do?
Take the Lead with These Responsibilities:
- Run the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) process within your scope.
- Define and update stock parameters to meet service level goals while optimizing inventory levels.
- Manage purchase order portfolios, analyze stock discrepancies, and perform necessary adjustments.
- Ensure timely material replenishment (raw materials, components, and finished goods).
- Use MRP to balance resources and demand, ensuring stock availability at the right time and place.
- Collaborate closely with Upstream and Downstream Planning Leaders and Supply & Inventory Planners based in Japan.
- Support administrative tasks and contribute to customer success through effective vendor and stakeholder management.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Minimum 5 years of experience in materials planning or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP (SD and MM modules), MRP processes, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP etc).
- Bilingual proficiency (Japanese and English).
- Experience in vendor management and customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and with stakeholders in the East Asia region.
- Familiarity with HMI products is a plus.
- Strong sense of responsibility, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset
