The Role: Service Representative - Technical Trainer Secure Power (Cooling)
Within the Global Services training department, reporting to the Service Training Manager for APAC, your role will be to train and update technical training for field service engineers, partners and end users in APAC. Additionally, you will be in charge of teaching methods covering course design, course implementation and course updating.
What will you do?
- Technical Trainer:
- Carry out technical training, mainly on Cooling equipment and solutions from the Secure Power and Eco Struxure Offers.
- Provide Cooling and data center power/software training for our internal and external customers using virtual classroom and attended classroom methods or on customer premises.
- Ensure that safety rules, best practices and safety conditions are respected during each training session.
- Evaluate trainees for certification.
- Be responsible for classrooms and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Work closely with R&D, technical management and technical support for technical issues and obtain the latest technical developments.
- SME (Subject Matter Expert):
- Design training and be a subject matter expert (SME) for certain products:
- Manage engineering instructions, teaching methods, course creation, equipment needed to launch new training for Cooling solution offerings.
- Responsible for updating course content and ensuring the transfer of knowledge and know-how to other trainers worldwide.
- Creation of Tutorials and support in the creation of eLearning training courses for the training offers for which you are responsible.
- Develop new digital training programs and courses for new Schneider Electric Cooling and product models
- Contribute to the creation and updating of Service Reps training courses.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Autonomous, you demonstrate analytical skills and pragmatism.
- Ability to lead a group of 6 trainees and able to cover the course content in the allotted time.
- Have good relationships, a good level of oral communication and appreciate international contacts
- Flexible and have a good sense of customer service.
- Eell organized and can manage multiple tasks between training sessions.
- Have a digital mindset and are eager to discover digital methods.
- Knowledge of IT and networks is a plus.
- International travel to be expected.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Educated and experinced to electrical or electronics engineer level. Will have experience and training on multiple Schneider Electric Cooling equipment
- Business English and Japanese
