Service Engineer

Job Description:

• Supervise site activities for installation, testing, commissioning, and retrofits.
• Collaborate with field service engineers and service partners for site supervision, SAT/PAT testing, and commissioning (End to end activities including service partner order management)
• Drive sales of service offerings, including preventive maintenance, retrofits, upgrades, and spare parts.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, particularly in modernization and retrofit projects.
• Prepare and negotiate service proposals, including RFQs, pricing, and commercial terms.
• Manage end-user and EPC accounts.
• Coordinate with clients for technical meetings and project scheduling.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service delivery and effective issue resolution.
• Oversee service order processing, documentation, and invoicing.
• Coordinate with execution and technical teams for equipment delivery and site execution.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to ensure operational continuity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting, including fault diagnosis, system failure resolution, and on-site or remote assistance.
• Understand technical scopes, including equipment-specific testing and OEM coordination.
• Prepare detailed service reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards during all service activities.
• End to End service execution including payment collection.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (degree must be from an NBA-accredited institution for Kuwait Society of Engineers approval).
• 5-7 years of experience in technical support or field service roles preferably in Kuwait E&C segment
• Considering extensive travel within Kuwait/GCC, candidate is preferred to have Kuwait/GCC driving license

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with LV and MV switchgear, relays, E-House and E-SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with SAT/PAT procedures, OEM coordination, and electrical testing and commissioning.
• Proficiency in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
Soft Skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
