Position Overview

As a Senior Technical Engineer in Power Systems, you will lead the technical content of projects, ensuring customer requirements are met in terms of performance, quality, costs, and time. You will coordinate and manage a technical team, oversee all technical aspects of customer-integrated projects, and support the Sales or Tendering team during the selling phase.

• Act as the single point of contact for all project technical topics.
• Ensure customer technical requirements are fulfilled based on defined specifications.
• Lead a technical team of designers and engineers, ensuring coordination among all stakeholders.
• Oversee design, implementation, testing, and final approval of technical solutions.

• Collaborate closely with PM and other technical designers and engineers.
• Identify and coordinate specific expertise support when needed.
• Manage technical aspects of sub-contracted parts in coordination with the procurement team.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all technical content and coordination.

• Perform and review design and specification activities using Schneider Electric products and systems.
• Conduct implementation and testing activities as needed.

• Identify potential changes and specify implications for Schneider Electric.
• Alert PM of any substantial issues affecting project performance or customer satisfaction.

• Lead technical discussions with customers.
• Act as the key and trusty contact person for all technical topics related to the project.

• Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric processes, quality instructions, safety requirements, and governance principles.
• Lead the technical team to correct any deviations or quality issues during project execution.

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Fluent English and Korean Language are a must.

• Minimum 10 years in the leading technical scope of projects in Power systems or Electrical Distribution System applications (MV, LV, Transformer, Protective devices, Switches, Busway & cabling systems, Protection relay, etc)
• Working in one or several engineering application domains: Power, Automation & Software, Mechanical & HVAC, and Structural is a plus.
• Technical experience in a specific market segment (e.g. Power GRID & Utility, OGP, F&B, Data Center, etc..) or in a customer application/process is a plus.

• Ability to use Electrical and/or software tools (drawing, study & calculation, etc..)
• Ability to read and understand applicable standards
• Ability to communicate (written, verbal) in concise and synthetic manner on technical issues/topics.
• Ability to learn from others, share her/his knowledge, coach others, and collaborate efficiently.
