We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, high-value impact strategic greenfield projects in the process automation sector. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with 8-10 years of experience managing large-scale automation projects, cross-border cross-functional projects from concept through commissioning in dynamic and often ambiguous environments that drive innovation, operational excellence, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of projects-from feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align project / organizational goals and ensure compliance with local and global standards.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the integration of automation systems (Safety Systems, DCS, SCADA, Solutions, etc.) and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead diverse teams across business units, and external partners to deliver integrated solutions.
- Strategic Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals and client expectations.
- Change Management: Drive adoption of new technologies and processes through effective change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify and mitigate risks while proactively seeking opportunities to optimize cost, schedule, and quality.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project KPIs, milestones, and deliverables, providing regular updates to executive leadership.
- Governance & Reporting: Ensure project execution governance compliance and provide executive-level reporting on project performance, KPIs, and strategic milestones.
- Team Leadership: Lead diverse, multicultural project teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Contract & Vendor Oversight: Manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of project management experience in the Process Automation industry, with at least 5 years in greenfield, or capital-intensive projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects exceeding $10M in value.
- Strong knowledge of automation platforms (e.g., Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson, ABB, Siemens, Rockwell).
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification and Agile certifications are a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing CAPEX budgets.

- English fluency is required.
- French and Arabic languages proficiency are a plus.
- Availability for business trips associated with the execution of projects in the Middle East and Africa.
