Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:

1. Engineer with experience in sourcing of commodities like electromechanical assemblies and bought-out parts (e.g., voltmeter/ammeter, timers, LED lamps, CTs, lugs, wires, cables, wire harnesses, selector switches, consumables like resin and hardener, etc.)
2. Sourcing activities include development of assemblies for new products, vendor development, cost estimation, negotiation, rate settlement, and supplier follow-up
3. Good process knowledge and basic manufacturing concepts
4. Strong in cost estimation, negotiation, and material follow-up
5. Cost Saving: Achieve annualized accrued savings of 2.5% of material cost budget through procurement optimization
6. Commodity Rate Revision: Between 1st to 5th of every month; must know advanced Microsoft Excel, VBA, Python
7. Develop parts within agreed lead time and cost
8. MIS reports, spend analysis, activity-based costing, zero-based costing, supplier de-risking and rationalization
9. Supplier assessment, training, improvement, and hands-on PPAP activity implementation at vendor end

• Experience Range: 8 to 10 Years

• Desired Source: Electrical or Automobile Industry; lateral hires from Western Maharashtra preferred
