Senior HR Business Partner
Location: Dunavecse, Hungary
Role Overview
Our Dunavecse plant is the largest Schneider Electric manufacturing site in Hungary and is a major driver for our Engineering-to-Order (ETO) solutions across Europe. As Senior HR BP for this site, you will lead the full spectrum of HR strategy and operations for a workforce of approximately 1000 employees, with further growth expected. You will be a key member of the site leadership team, partnering with business leaders to drive operational excellence, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure alignment with Schneider Electric's global values and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Site Leader and management team, influencing business strategy through people initiatives.
- Translate Schneider Electric's global HR strategy into actionable, locally relevant plans carried out through the local HR team
- Lead workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning to ensure future-ready teams.
- Partner with HR Community (both local and regional HR Councils) contributing to HR Sustainability Initiatives and KPI's.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-engagement culture, aligned with IMPACT values.
- Oversee labor relations, including union negotiations and collective agreements, ensuring compliance and constructive partnership.
- Champion employee well-being, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Responsibility for end-to-end recruitment for all site roles, from shop floor to management.
- Design and deliver learning, development, and leadership programs tailored to manufacturing needs.
- Identify and nurture high-potential talent for internal mobility and advancement.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure accurate, efficient HR administration (payroll, benefits, contracts, personnel files).
- Maintain compliance with Hungarian labor law and Schneider Electric policies.
- Lead HR digitalization and process improvement projects.
Change Management & Transformation
- Drive change initiatives (organizational design, digital transformation, culture change) with clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What are your superpowers?
Experience & Qualifications
- 8+ years HR business partnering and /or HR leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing/industrial environment with 500+ employees.
- Proven track record in labor relations, union negotiations, and Hungarian employment law.
- Experience in a multinational, matrixed organization preferred.
- Degree in HR, Business, or related field; if the latter then HR certification a plus.
- Fluency in Hungarian and English is crucial as you will be interacting daily with many nationalities.

This role is based on site at our Dunavecse plant . Your presence throughout the workweek will ensure strong partnership with employees and leadership.
