Your Mission
This position is accountable for managing medium/complex scale Customer project orders, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. This includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing of customer projects/programs. Under section head supervision this position confirms customer requirements, which includes drawings, specifications, job site support, bill of material alignment with specifications & clarify exceptions. Manages complete job process from order preparation, thru manufacturing release, product shipment, post shipment support.

- To excel as a Mechanical Design Project Engineer, certain key skills and qualifications are essential. Here are some of the most important ones:
- Technical Knowledge: Should have a solid understanding of mechanical (FF / HVAC) engineering processes, methodologies, and technologies. They should be familiar with digital tools concepts and best practices. This technical knowledge enables them to effectively communicate with the project teams and make informed decisions.
- Project Management: Should be familiar in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to successfully lead customer projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaboration and Team Management: The ability to collaborate and inspire a team is crucial. Those skills are vital to motivate team members and foster a collaborative work environment. Effective communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills are also important to ensure the project's success.
- Stakeholder Management: Interaction with various stakeholders, including clients, product owners, executives, and internal teams. They should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, manage expectations, and build relationships. They should also be adept at negotiating and resolving conflicts between different stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: They often encounter challenges and obstacles. They should be skilled in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making. They should be able to analyze complex situations, identify potential solutions, and make informed decisions under pressure. Adaptability and a proactive approach to handling issues are also valuable qualities.
- Time Management: Managing project deliverables, deadlines and budgets is a key responsibility. They should be adept at prioritizing tasks and tracking project progress. They should have a keen eye for detail and be skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Risk Management: Mitigating risks and handling uncertainties is crucial in customer project management. They should possess strong risk assessment skills. They should be able to identify potential risks, develop contingency plans, and proactively address issues that may impact project success.
- Communication and Documentation: Effective communication is essential to convey customer project requirements, updates, and risks to stakeholders. They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, proficiency in documentation, including project plans, reports, and specifications, is important for maintaining project transparency and ensuring clear communication within the team.
- Business Acumen: Understanding the business context and objectives of the customer project is valuable. They should have a grasp of the industry, market trends, and the organization's goals. This helps them align the project with business objectives and make strategic decisions that contribute to overall success.
About You
- Bachelor's degree of communication or electronics or computer science.
- 7 to 10 Relevant years of experience is required.
- Excellent command of English
- Professional user of Microsoft Office
- Team player
- Learning & Researching
- Adapting and responding to change.
- CSM, ACP & PMP are a plus.
- Experience in handling complex projects
