The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successful turnkey projects, technical leadership, and collaborative teamwork. Professional registration with ECSA is desired.

- Lead and contribute to the design and engineering of power systems & control solutions for turnkey projects.
- Provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of electrical designs, ensuring compliance with relevant IEC standards.
- Oversee and coordinate site services, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support during project execution.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs with overall project requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and demonstrate strong leadership in challenging situations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Over 8 years of experience in the field.
- Extensive experience in electrical power systems designs, protection & control, mostly in medium voltage distribution & transmission.
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric or similar solutions is advantageous.
- Knowledge in control & monitoring systems (SCADA) is advantageous.
- Proven success in leading technically and playing a team player role within the business & in projects.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant IEC,SANS Etc standards and best practices.
- Professional registration with ECSA (desirable).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
