Safety and Environment Field Specialist

Location - Ireland

We're looking for a Health & Safety Specialist to support our field operations across Ireland. This is a field-based role with frequent travel, working closely with operational teams, contractors, and customers to promote safe working practices and environmental responsibility.

What you will do:

  • Carry out site and contractor audits across Ireland, advising teams on compliance with legislation, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Support field teams in improving working conditions on customer sites, providing guidance and practical solutions.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Deliver health, safety and environmental training, and support the completion of risk assessments, method statements, and POWRAs.
  • Drive continuous improvement of safety behaviours and environmental risk awareness across field operations.


What we're looking for:
  • Previous work experience in a field-based health and safety role.
  • NEBOSH qualification (mandatory).
  • IEMA environmental awareness (advantageous).
  • Lead auditor certification (nice to have).
  • Strong auditing, compliance monitoring, and risk assessment skills.
  • Full driving licence (company van provided).
  • Flexibility to travel across Ireland, typically four days per week, often same-day travel.

This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who thrives in the field and wants to make a measurable impact on site safety and environmental standards. You'll be part of a supportive team, reporting to our UKI zone Safety & Environment Country Operations Manager.
