Project Engineer

Mission
To manage overall schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables for specific project (Type A, B and C) within SPAC - Korea to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction and experience.

The SPAC is expected to be engaged with our customer on the complex types and size of projects, representing the entire Data Centre opportunity, which encompasses all Schneider hardware, software and services but also all relevant 3rd party solutions.

Project Manager is the official single point of contact for customer within project life cycle.

He monitors project members and 3rd parties to ensure goals and objectives are being kept. Knowledge of larger landscape without neglecting granular details while tracking project health, staying alert for risk and resolving issues as they arise.

He is responsible to ensure that the solutions offered for a given project, are implemented on time, at or better than the signed off margin, compliance to standards, processes (CPP) and achieves highest customer satisfaction working with the Schneider local Sales and local Solutions teams. The person is there to ensure good resource planning during Project Execution and hence adherence to good systems practices including SGV, Apollo, Alma

Project Manager must ensure full compliance to SE Policy including Cybersecurity, Quality, Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Ensure all safety practices are strictly followed at project work site by Project Members and Vendors and maintain a zero-safety deviation tolerance environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be responsible to lead the project team in all aspect of project including internal resources and external 3rd Parties to achieve project deliverables.
  • Be responsible to smooth customer interaction and communication. Attend Customer Project Coordination Meeting or any other meeting required.
  • To prepare Overall Project Execution Plan, including Scope Management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Resources Management, Communication Management, Risk Management, Procurement Management and Stakeholder Management.
  • Ensure all safety practices are strictly followed by Project Members and Vendors and maintain a zero- safety deviation tolerance environment.
  • To manage and monitor actual project progress and prepare external and internal project reports.
  • To prepare Progressive Payment Claim and obtain claim approval.
  • Be responsible to Project Performance Matrix including CCO GM Deviation, C-R and CNPS.
  • To participate in monthly Project REL review to ensure all Risks and Opportunities are properly manage or address.
  • To ensure CPP process are meticulously followed at all time. Taking part in CPP Project's Gates decision making review (eg P0, P1, P2 and P3 Gates)
  • To prepare handover documentation to Service Team upon completion of the project.
  • To provide project management support for Sales, Solution and Tendering Team during pre-sales stage if required


Education
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Data Centre, Mechanical & Electrical Design, Project Management)

Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent experience

Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Center applications

Language
  • Proficient in spoken and written English

Travel Requirement
  • Travel within Korea

Technical Skiils
  • Project Management, including:
    • Contract Management
    • Change Management
    • Negotiation Skills
  • Financial knowledge related to:
    • Project-specific Profit & Loss (P&L)
  • Expertise in:
    • Data Center operations
    • End-to-end Data Center solutions and execution
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
