Project Engineer

We're looking for a Project Engineer to make an impact!
What will you do?
- Be directly involved in the execution of the service project starting from P0 gate (i.e. Book-in, planning, coordination and execution & project closure).
- Coordinate with the tendering team to ensure the proper costing and allocation of costs to individual cost section prior to project book in.
- Coordinate with engineers or drafter on each phase of the project from design to completion, to ensure efficient resources and enhanced cost effectiveness.
- Prepare the workplan and manage project scope, budget & schedule, invoicing and closure, alongisde monitoring and controlling these outcomes.
- Ensure projects are completed timely and on-budget with high customer satisfaction.
- Analyze, perform and provides reviews on variety of engineering works in the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with BMS (Building Management System) Service operation team on site execution.
- Support Sales team to increase Field2Order or variation order.
- Handover project to service operation team following project handover checklist
- Interact with customer to address questions or concerns about the project, which includes understanding the customer needs and delivering the expected outcome.
- Work closely with team members, including extended teams e.g. Services Sales, Operations, Order Management and Planning, Supply Chain & Logistics, to effectively resolving complex issues within tight deadlines.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, BMS or equivalent.
- Min. 2 years exp. in project engineering in related field.
- Experience in Power meters, Harmonic Filters, Power Monitoring System, Building Management System or Automation and Drive Systems will be an advantage.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong command of the English & local language, both verbal and written.
- Curiosity, tenacity and resilience. Strong collaboration spirit to go for win-win outcomes. Able to manage customer's escalation.
- Growth mindset and open to a learning journey.
