Production Intern

The production intern will work primarily on topics related to lean manufacturing and quality fundamental tools deployment along with the quality engineers and method/manufacturing engineers for the product line.

What will you do?

The main role of this position is to support projects and activities in manufacturing working in conjunction with quality department and methods/manufacturing department

  • Improve visual management of the manufacturing areas
  • Establish a sustainable 5S program for all manufacturing areas
  • Train factory floor and quality personnel in Quality Fundamentals tools.
  • Assist in building Quality awareness and furthering quality culture within the plant.
  • Capture suggestions for process improvement.
  • To support deployment of lean manufacturing in factory and direction or industrial operation plan including assignment in order to achieve factory objective

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Currently enrolled or a recent graduate in Industrial engineering or Mechanical engineering or Manufacturing operations related coursework
  • Willingness to work in manufacturing industry and to take on new challenges.
  • Knowledge on MS Office application (Excel, Word, PPT) Proactive, team work, analytic
  • Participation in extracurricular activities
  • You are a team player who has a great attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Motivated self-starter and ability to multitask are required for this position.
