Product Application Engineer

As a Product Application Engineer, your role is to be the technical expert of the power monitoring solutions in the sales team, enhancing the relationship with key customers and partners. Your passion for energy efficiency solutions, sustainability and customer service should drive your success in this role. You will consult and guide customers on new products and solutions, supporting their development while upskilling your own technical and commercial aptitude. Your electrical engineering background and technical sales expertise will make you the go-to person for all power product needs. To be successful you will need to find joy in working with electrical switchboards and love to collaborate with sales to materialize power monitoring solutions. Key responsibilities

  • Complement sales as a presales and aftersales technical expert.
  • Support the sales team by analyzing the customer requests and converting them into a technical proposal
  • Support the offer creation process in close cooperation with all sales teams (mainly for power montoring solutions both in hardware and software, switchboard of the future, selectivity studies, energy efficiency applications)
  • Complement the sales leads by providing added value-based solutions to the customers
  • Establish and develop the digital competencies and offer of our network of partners to deliver digital Schneider Solutions.
  • Cover ad hoc project needs (follow-up, provide any extra documentation needed)
  • Follow up on the entire sales process from demand generation until project completion
  • Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability/access, timely communication, placing accurate orders, and following up on accounts
  • Take pleasure in communicating directly with the customers. Be their technical guiding point and trainer of Schneider products

What qualifications and competencies would make you successful on this role?
  • University or Technical Institute of Electrical or Automations Engineering Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in similar positions will be considered a plus
  • Excellent oral and written command of the English and Greek language
  • Advanced PC Skills, especially regarding MS Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Target-driven, with the ability to take initiative
  • Ability to challenge processes and implement improved working methods
  • Ability to influence, develop and manage partners
  • Presentation skills
  • Customer focused
  • Global mindset willing to adapt in a multi-cultural environment
  • Team player, ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
