We are looking for an experienced professional who can help us deliver exceptional customer experience and generate commercial value for our business.
What will you do?
The Proactive Services Specialist position is a unique and exciting opportunity for individuals who are interested in using their technical expertise and passion for customer service to enable delivery of an industry-changing remote service offer, EcoStruxure Power Advisor.
EcoStruxure Power Advisor (EPA) is a proactive, analytics-based service, built on Schneider Electric's exclusive patented technology. Using this technology Digital Services collects data from our customers' Power Monitoring software, analyzes the data, and provides expertise to help optimize the performance and reliability of our customers electrical distribution system.
By moving from reactive to proactive we increase reliability, improve decision making, and reduce risk & liability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Proactive Services Specialist will employ their technical expertise, knowledge of electrical systems, and their excellent communications skills to:
- Meet with customer and remote into their system (via TeamViewer) to:
- Extract data from devices connected to customers PME/PSO/Energy Expert system (from their SQL database)
- Generate PME diagnostics
- Request one-line diagrams
- o Confirm which devices are utility incomers
- o Ask questions about their Power Factor Penalty
- Make every effort to generate other opportunities while working with the customer
- Schedule a consultation for the customer to go over their report analysis with their Digital Services Engineer and other stakeholders
- Use our Customer Relationship Management tool (Salesforce) for case and work order management and information tracking.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by NAM and PLP leadership team.
Who would be successful?
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Power Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent
- Two years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications in a work setting
- Excellent soft skills such as team player, interpersonal skills, and collaboration. Candidate must work effectively with teams throughout the organization
- Strong writing and oral communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Ability to effectively manage time and deliverables
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, ability to self-audit to ensure accuracy, and establish measures of quality control over work
- Experience working with customers
Preferred
- Education and/or 2 years of experience in data mining and recommending innovative solutions in the power and energy monitoring field
- Knowledge of Power Quality and understanding of Power Quality standards
- Experience working in energy management or power industry
- Understanding of digital metering systems
- Experience with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
