  • Lead the technical win and the risk‑smart execution of competitive migration opportunities-primarily from Honeywell Experion/TPS/TDC and Safety Manager-to EcoStruxure™ Foxboro DCS and Triconex.
  • Shape the solution during presales, craft winning proposals, and then lead the key engineering and cutover work that de‑risks brownfield modernization.

  • Translate customer specs into solution architecture, scope split, BOM, execution strategy, and cost/tim estimates; drive BoQ, SOW, assumptions/clarifications, and risk registers.
  • Partner with Sales/Tendering on win themes, alternatives, and value engineering; present solutions to customers and handle technical objections.
  • Standardize templates, calculators, and migration playbooks to improve bid quality and speed.
  • Lead FEED, detailed design, configuration, and FAT for Foxboro/Triconex migrations from Honeywell platforms (e.g., Experion PKS/Series C, legacy TPS/TDC); define I/O mapping, marshalling reuse/refresh, and database conversion.
  • Plan and lead commissioning & cutover, coordinating with operations to ensure zero‑incident transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Produce and govern FDS, SDS, test protocols, method statements, and handover packs; support SAT and operator training.
  • Enforce engineering quality processes and drive change‑order identification and capture.
  • Coach project engineers; disseminate best practices across EEC and Delivery and liaise with global Center of Competencies.
  • Support Sales and Tender Managers with the preparation of technical proposals for DCS migration and upgrade projects.
  • Interpret customer technical specifications and generate strategies for implementation in production.
  • Work with customer in defining detailed application, system, and hardware requirements.
  • Work from process and instrumentation drawings to design applications and control strategies.

  • Provides feedback and suggestion to line managers about competency development plans for engineers, contributes to development plan preparation and execution.
  • Travel to customer sites and FAT/SAT as required (approx. 30-50%).
  • Works within a matrix, leading tasks/people for engineering scope; no direct line reports.
