As our PCB Layout Designer , you'll work in our R&D center in Kolding, Denmark and play a crucial role as part of the R&D t eam and will participate in the development of energy management products with special focus on 3 phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and power converters .

What You'll be doing :

  • Create detailed printed circuit board (PCB) layout designs based on engineering schematics and requirements for UPS and power converter s , ensuring compliance with both internal and industry standards and specifications .
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation , including schematics , layout files , and BOMs (Bill of Materials ) in line with Schneider Electric procedures ;
  • Provide PCB layout technical support in investigating factory / field failures and returns , when needed .
  • To stay updated on new technology , share knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement and best practices of the R&D department , including the creation of new design standards .
  • Cross functional collaboration to ensure the timely delivery of high- quality releases , to optimize PCB designs for performance, manufacturability , and cost .
  • Work closely with manufacturing partners to address any design- related issues and support the production process .
  • Stay updated with the latest PCB design tools , technologies , and industry trends .


What Will Help You Succeed:
  • You have a degree in Electr onics engineering or equivalent Design kn owledge of PCB;
  • Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles .
  • Knowledge of signal integrity , EMI/EMC considerations , high- speed design techniques , and simulations to validate design performance;
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit theory .
  • Good knowledge on design for : assembly (DFA), manufacturing (DFM) , reliability , safety , quality , and co st ;
  • Proficiency in Electronics CAD tools ( Cadence knowledge will be an advantage ) .
  • Experience for large kVA power electronic converter solutions will be a plus .
  • You are fully proficient with written and spoken English
