Operational Project & Programme Manager

Location: Europe - flexible. Prefered location - UK or Ireland. Occasional travel.

We're looking for an experienced Operational Programme Manager to lead delivery within our Engineering Centre of Excellence. This is a high-impact role, working with our Cloud & Service Provider and Life Sciences strategic accounts.

You'll lead a talented team of engineers, driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and digital transformation. Your focus will be on planning, executing, and governing multi-country engineering projects while ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with strategic account goals.

What you will do
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering delivery team.
• Drive operational alignment with global delivery standards.
• Oversee planning and execution of complex, multi-country engineering projects.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Implement digital tools, dashboards, and trackers for visibility and accountability.
• Promote standardisation and best practices across projects.
• Act as the operational contact for strategic customers, managing escalations and driving satisfaction.

What you bring
• Previous work experience in programme and project management with operational leadership.

• Experience delivering complex engineering projects, ideally in data centres or life sciences.
• Strong people management skills, with a record of leading diverse teams.
• Proven ability to work across geographies and functions.
• Stakeholder management, commercial awareness, and digital fluency.
• PMP or similar certification is an advantage.
