Oil & Gas Segment Sales Manager

We are seeking a strategic and performance-driven Segment Sales Manager - Oil & Gas to lead our commercial efforts in this key industry. You will be responsible for managing customer relationships, driving sales across product lines, supporting project execution, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our business operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for delivering value in a dynamic market.

What will you do?

Sales & Customer Management

  • Achieve sales targets for assigned direct and indirect customer segments and product groups (revenue, margin, portfolio growth, and retention).
  • Develop and implement customer action plans and ensure accurate sales forecasting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including top management, to promote Schneider Electric solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial policies and internal procedures.

Project & Bid Management
  • Identify and participate in tenders, including offer preparation and documentation.
  • Provide local support for projects managed by other departments or segment directors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of offers and manage customer expectations.

Market Monitoring & Strategy
  • Track market trends, competition, and business conditions in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Share insights with management to support strategic decisions.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and client events (conferences, exhibitions, etc.).

Offer & Order Management
  • Escalate non-standard contract proposals and special quotations as needed.
  • Prepare optimal technical-commercial offers and ensure alignment with pricing policies.
  • Provide support for medium and low voltage offers in collaboration with sales engineers

    What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

    Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy, or a related technical field.

    Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales of electrical equipment or solutions.
    • Relevant experience in Oil & Gas
    • Proven track record in managing complex customer portfolios and projects.

    Skills & Competencies
      • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
      • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
      • Advanced PC skills and proficiency in standard business applications.
      • Fluent in English.
      • Valid driver's license (Category B).
