The Role: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for managing all personnel and activities within the Methods Engineering department, ensuring effective operations and alignment with organizational goals. This role leads the strategic deployment of the Schneider Production System (SPS) and Lean Manufacturing methodologies to drive operational excellence, with a strong emphasis on labor efficiency and overall productivity.

The position oversees the development and optimization of processes at local, regional, and global levels, ensuring the achievement of SPS assessment targets. The Supply Chain Performance Head plays a critical role in the creation and implementation of standardized practices and continuous improvement frameworks, fostering a culture of innovation and performance across the organization. This role ensures alignment with the Schneider Electric Trust Charter and supports the company's strategic supply chain transformation initiatives.

What will you do?

  • Manage all personnel and activities within the Methods Engineering department, ensuring alignment with site objectives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of new processes to meet economic and technical demands.
  • Oversee the construction of trial production lines and guide product processing activities based on self-developed technologies.
  • Apply expertise in SPS, process design, ergonomics, capacity planning, simulation tools, investment analysis, and cost performance.
  • Drive technical training systems aimed at improving safety, quality, and efficiency across DVC operations.
  • Ensure all process designs and improvements adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety through engineering controls and ergonomic solutions.
  • Standardize work methods and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in production.
  • Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Support quality assurance through process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Provide hierarchical leadership with full people management and budgetary accountability.
  • Train and develop employees on new methods and procedures, offering guidance and support during process changes.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to streamline operations.
  • Analyze and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Identify and implement industry best practices to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and allocate resources strategically to optimize operations.
  • Maintain documentation and support audits related to process design and performance management.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/ industrial engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years' working experience in the field of Electronics/Electrical manufacturing management
  • Hands-on experience in leading Capacity Management by designing a new line architecture
  • Experienced in industrial efficiency and driving Kaizen, Lean, JDI, and Six Sigma projects through Lean tools
  • Experienced in New Line Design and Automation with Digitization, Robotics, AGV, AI, and other related platforms
  • Work location: Rosario, Cavite
  • Working arrangements: Full-time onsite reporting
