What do you get to do in this position:

Applicant will be responsible with supporting Order Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality Engineering and Safety groups for Low Voltage Transformers, Control Transformers and Instrument Transformers. Support activities will include improving, document clarity, throughput productivity and process efficiencies of light track projects, root cause/corrective actions and training on product offering and software evolutions. Acts as the technical liaison from the plants to the Design/Continuous Engineering Teams

Responsibilities:

  • Execution of Light Track PEP projects (PCR's = Product Change Requests)Implements/explains inside of the plants the new and updated versions of Product Definition Files including Pilot Runs
  • Supports plant with all technical aspects of the offer
  • Support of new product design and implementation from Design Engineering to Operations
  • Filters issues from the plant and suppliers and recommends corrective actions to the related Continuous Engineering department
  • Reviews First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR's) and makes decisions on part conformity to the design
  • Submits proposals of QVE (Quality Value Engineering) actions to the Continuous Engineering groups.

  • Engineering degree, BSEE or BSME preferred.
  • +2 years of experience
  • Core tools, Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Excellent problem resolution skills
  • Ability to interact with engineering and manufacturing personnel
  • Must be able to effectively utilize time to maintain project schedules
  • Advanced English
