Maintenance Technician

What will you do?

• Responsible for maintenance tasks which are assigned through preventive maintenance as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates as intended
• Support maintenance activities and projects
• Provide general maintenance and housekeeping support in production areas
• Complete self-directed projects as assigned
• Ensure that all hazardous materials and waste products are handled in accordance
• Maintain scrap/recycle material programs
• Obtain maintenance materils ans supplies form off-site locations as required using company vehicle

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

• Flexible hours may be required
• Must have knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic operating systems
• Must have ability to work independently as a team member
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting
• High School graduate or equivalent
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum High School diploma with technical courses beyond high school and three (3) or more years of related experience
• General mechanical background is required
• Prefer to have some industrial electrical background working with electrical circuits
• Experience with 110 volt and 480 volt circuits
• Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license
