Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 4 Product Support Engineer (Advanced Support & System Analysis) to support the expanding scope of our Senior L4 Expert initiatives. This role is centered on advanced troubleshooting, system-level diagnostics, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the stability and performance of complex building automation solutions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong technical insight and a passion for resolving challenging issues. The candidate will serve as a liaison between the R&D team and the product support teams, partners, and country front office colleagues, ensuring effective communication and coordination on field issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis

  • Investigate and resolve complex system-level issues across hardware, firmware, cloud, and mobile platforms.
  • Support escalated cases from Level 3 and field teams, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with Senior L4 Experts to identify recurring issues and contribute to long-term solutions.

System-Level Analysis & Integration Support
  • Perform deep analysis of integrated building automation systems, including TRC scalability and RF behavior.
  • Support integration efforts with platforms such as EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) and hotel-specific configurations.
  • Assist in validating end-to-end workflows and ensuring seamless interoperability across subsystems.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
  • Work closely with R&D, QA, and product teams to relay field insights and influence design decisions.
  • Document findings, troubleshooting steps, and resolution paths for internal knowledge bases.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-wide technical growth.

Support for Senior L4 Initiatives
  • Assist in executing strategic initiatives led by Senior L4 Expert.
  • Provide technical input for product improvements, integration strategies, and customer experience enhancements.
  • Participate in cross-functional reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in system-level troubleshooting, technical support, or integration.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with diagnosing complex system behaviors.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems, TRC, RF technologies, and EBO integration.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for automation and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with HVAC systems and building controls.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Grafana, and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, analyzers).
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and collaborative workflows.

  • Deliver timely and effective support for escalated system issues.
  • Contribute to the scalability and reliability of integrated solutions.
  • Support Senior L4 initiatives with high-quality technical execution.
  • Share knowledge and improve team troubleshooting capabilities.
