Key Account Manager

What will you do?

- Promote and sell relevant offers to meet/exceed overall order intake targets. Core offers include process control and safety systems. Special focus to grow sales of Digital offers (including cybersecurity services, Aveva software solutions, Industrial Digital Transformation consulting services) and variable speed drive
- Employ a Customer First outside-in approach to selling - first understand customer frictions/needs, then recommend solutions to address them
- Maintain and execute account plans for key customers accounts
- Maintain updated data in the CRM system (Salesforce) for own opportunities to enable accurate sales analytics, sales forecasting and business planning
- Embody Digital leadership, e.g. active leveraging of digital sales enablement tools and support digital marketing efforts for demand generation

- Min 8 years experience in industrial automation, including directly leading end-user sales pursuits.

- Strong understanding of distributed control and safety systems. Deep technical knowledge is not necessary as this role will work with subject matter experts for the respective offer areas.
- Good understanding of software solutions. Experience with Aveva is a plus.
- Experience in Power & Grid is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with responsive attitude to customers.
- Experience working in a matrix organization. Leadership to effectively lead sales opportunity teams across functions and to collaborate across business units to win sales as One Schneider.
- Enjoy constant learning, challenges and has a problem-solving mindset.
- Has a good team spirit.
- Existing relationships with end-users and EPCs are a plus.
