The Role: Junior Project Manager [1-year Fixed Term Contract]

What will you do?

The Transition Manager (Junior Project Manager) will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of complex organizational and/or technological transitions. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual with strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The Transition Manager will ensure minimal disruption to business operations during the transition process, while achieving the desired outcomes within defined timelines and budgets.

The role will lead the transition of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes from across different business units/zones/countries going to the Business Finance Competency Center based in the Philippines.

Responsibilities:
  • Transition Planning and Strategy:
    • Develop comprehensive transition plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
    • Define clear transition objectives and success criteria.
    • Conduct impact assessments to identify potential risks and challenges.
    • Create detailed transition roadmaps and milestones.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage all aspects of the transition project, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies.
    • Monitor project progress, identify and address potential delays or issues.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the transition.
    • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and external partners.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
    • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops.
    • Manage change management aspects of the transition.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with the transition.
    • Develop and implement contingency plans.
    • Proactively address issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Communication and Training:
    • Develop and deliver clear and concise communication plans to inform stakeholders about the transition.
    • Coordinate and deliver training programs to ensure smooth adoption of new processes or systems.
    • Create and maintain transition documentation.
  • Post-Transition Support:
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of the transition.
    • Provide ongoing support and address any post-transition issues.
    • Document lessons learned for future transitions.

Qualifications

WHO WILL BE SUCCESFUL?
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in transition management, project management, or related roles.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing complex transitions.
    • Experience in Manufacturing Industry and Shared Services environment is preferred but not required
  • Skills:
    • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
    • Knowledge of change management principles.
    • Ability to work in fast paced environments.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or related certifications preferred.

Other Details:
  • Role will directly report to Global Transitions Director (based in India) with network of interactions with the Philippine Business Finance Competency Center Leaders (Director, Managers, and Expert teams)
  • Should be willing to work in Rosario, Cavite on a hybrid setup
  • Should be willing to accept 1-year fixed term contract (potential extension depending on business needs)
