Job Description: Methods Engineer
Main Responsabilities:
• Implement and oversee continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to achieve productivity goals, considering quality, cost, and time.
• Optimize production lead times and ensure line capacity according to customer demand.
• Lead data diagnosis and analysis to conduct problem-solving using RCA, Ishikawa diagram, 8Ds, and others, and implement solutions based on the results obtained.
• Define and maintain a referential operating time based on adapted measurement tools (video analysis, MTM-UAS) and define/develop/improve standard work for manual operations following quality and safety guidelines (ergonomic principles).

• Ensure the feasibility and profitability of investments adapted to the needs of process optimization and development (CAPEX) through PMP or project management and agile frameworks/methodologies.
• Integrate advanced technologies such as industrial automation and IoT solutions for real-time monitoring and control of assembly operations.
• Utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize processes and improve decision-making.
• Promote digital transformation within the organization to maintain competitiveness.
Competencies:
• Continuous Improvement Methodologies - Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma, similar.
• Problem-Solving Skills - RCA, Ishikawa diagram, 8Ds and other techniques to implement effective solutions.
• Red vs Green Analysis / VA vs NVA / MTM
• MOC - PMP or/and Scrum, or familiar with agile framework
• Advanced Technology Integration - PLC, Programming, or similar.
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning or similar.
