For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $ 89,600 - $134,400 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We currently have a challenging career opportunity in our service organization for a Inside Sales Support Representative to cover the Central Region.

Put your sales expertise to work at ASCO Power Services where you will be responsible for the sales of technical services. You will provide excellent customer service to existing accounts and develop sales leads for new clients. Knowledge of three-phase electricity and power distribution is required as well as the ability to communicate technical information to a wide audience, via verbal and written materials.

JOB SUMMARY

The Inside Service Sales representative is responsible for support of the outside sales team for the assigned territory, including service maintenance agreements and quotations for modifications for transfer switch products and parallel switchgear systems in an assigned region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist with current responsibilities and functions on behalf of the Account Representative's working in an assigned region including maintenance agreement analysis and renewal quotes, ATS replacement quotes, and ATS Modernization quotes
  • Review contract expiry, prepare contract profitability statements and work with Account Reps for preparing, delivering and followup of renewal quotations
  • Maintain active relationships with customers. Negotiate discrepancies between customer and ASCO expectations and present to Regional Manager for disposition
  • Ability to read and interpret product/service specifications and single line drawings and apply applications from our current offers (desired but not required)
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate technical data with stakeholders such as consulting, applications engineers, and owners
  • Basic PCS (Paralleling Control System) application knowledge with demonstrated ability to comprehend sequence of operation (desired)
  • Basic knowledge of ASCO communications product offers, such as CPMA, SCADA, HMI and their applications (desired)
  • Basic knowledge of Automatic Transfer Switch design and operation (desired)
  • Work closely with and coordinate with the Regional Sales Manager and Field Operations Group
  • Develop and opportunity demand from TAP Leads, maintenance report recommendations, and EOL letters

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist Regional Sales Manager with territory forecasts, major project updates and modernization campaigns
  • Act as a resource for Account Representatives for support in customer interface and CRM updating

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • AS Technical degree or Marketing, Business Management or applicable military experience
  • Minimum of 3 years Service Sales experience and/or 5 years applicable industry sales experience
