HR Services Specialist (Japanese)

T he role :-
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Service Delivery Specialist with fluency in Japanese language to remotely support East Asia employees and the HR operation team from Malaysia.
The role primarily involves providing efficient and effective HR services to internal stakeholders, collaborating closely with the country HR operations and payroll team while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures on various HR functions and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support and services to our organization.
What will you do?
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.
- Collaborate closely with the country HR operations and payroll team, advising and supporting on time/attendance/OT, leave systems, payroll, and statutory compliance matters.
- Administer employee benefits programs and address benefits-related inquiries in collaboration with the HR team.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR regulations.
- Address employee inquiries and issues through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and exceptional service delivery.
- Actively identify improvement opportunities, maintain operational excellence, and promote standardized processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline HR processes and enhance service delivery efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of HR service delivery processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and activities as required to support HR operations.

What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in Japanese: Demonstrated business-level fluency in both written and spoken Japanese is essential for effective communication and collaboration.
- Digital Automation Tools: Familiarity with digital automation platforms and tools is an advantage.
- Japanese Statutory Knowledge: Ability to comprehend Japanese statutory requirements, with guidance and support from team members, is beneficial.
- Cross-Cultural Experience: Prior experience working with Japanese companies or colleagues, particularly in high-context communication environments, is highly valued.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Project management skills to drive digital service delivery initiatives.
- Digital Mindset and proactiveness, embrace and drive digital transformation within service delivery processes.
- Continuous improvement mindset, optimizing digital service delivery processes, including identifying automation opportunities, and enhancing self-service capabilities for stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in HR service delivery, preferably in a multinational environment would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll, and benefits administration would be an advantage.
