HES System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position will include :

1. Oversee daily operations of smart metering solution (HES).
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and maintenance.
3. Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement
4. Ensure compliance with Specifications and Standards where needed.

Operational Management:

1. Manage day-to-day operations of smart metering system (HES).
2. Ensure efficient and effective deployment of smart metering solution components.

Data Analysis:

1. Analyze operational data to enhance performance and identify trends
2. Generate reports on operational metrics and KPIs.

Technical Support:

1. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
2. Provide technical assistance to internal teams and clients

Compliance and Standards:

1. Ensure compliance with Specifications and Standards where needed.
2. Stay updated with advancements in smart metering technology and best practices.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Telecommunication).
2. Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with smart grid technologies and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
2. Experience with Telecommunication requirements through several technologies ( NB,2G,4G,..etc.) .
3. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the energy sector.
4. Knowledge of the troubleshooting tools ( Wireshark, Gurux, Service Tools, FileZilla, Postman)
5. Knowledge of the Microsoft SQL DB.

Skills:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and relevant software tools.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

1. Ability to work in shifts ( and "On-Call" mode )
2. Ability to go to Site (SEC control center)
