GM-BD-Secure Power Lead

This role is responsible for driving business growth by developing and strengthening relationships with Schneider Electric's installed base customers across the South region. The position focuses on identifying new service opportunities, expanding market reach, and delivering value through modernization, digital services, and lifecycle asset management. The role combines strategic business development with operational leadership across teams, partners, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new service opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Expand Schneider Electric's footprint by promoting new service offerings, especially Digital Services and Modernization Solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover growth areas and customer needs.
  • Build and execute regional business development strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in IT/ITES, Data Center, Commercial Buildings, and Industrial segments.
  • Represent Schneider Electric at industry events, forums, and customer engagements to promote service capabilities.
Sales & Customer Engagement:
  • Drive service business through direct engagement with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Achieve and exceed targets for sales, order booking, and collections.
  • Proactively visit installed base customers to educate and influence them on Schneider Electric's service offerings.
  • Provide ROI-based consultative selling to demonstrate value and application advantages.
Team & Partner Management:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, diverse team focused on service growth.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to maximize business opportunities and expand market coverage.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Marketing, KAM, Execution, Tendering) to align on business goals.
Operational Excellence:
  • Utilize Salesforce (BFO) for sales funnel and opportunity management.
  • Provide accurate monthly forecasts for order booking and sales.
  • Drive substantial growth in modernization (retrofit/revamp/upgrade) and EOSL replacement business.
  • Promote digitization for asset monitoring and predictive maintenance (UPS, Cooling, Batteries).
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen in services/solutions domain.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Deep understanding of Schneider Electric's service portfolio across the asset lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM tools.
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 10-15 years of sales and business development experience in relevant industries.
  • Proven track record in IT/ITES, Data Centers, Commercial Buildings, and Industrial segmen
