The role of EM content Manager requires an 'all-rounder'. An experienced marketing communications professional, with strong skills to understand strategy and convert to execution. From garnering content insights (ingredients) for thought leadership by collaborating with our own Research Institute, and also external industry analysts, to helping turn this into impactful content, to then supporting on deployment (eg event coordination).

Three key areas of the role:

  • Research (find ingredients for thought leadership)
  • Content (support creation, deployment and measurement)
  • Events (collaborate across EM divisions to manage event presence)

Key Responsibilities :
  • Supporting EM Comms VP with the evolution of the EM narrative:
  • Macro level: EM narrative assets development, deployment, and measurement.
  • Meso level: Collaboration with divisions on end market narratives (evolution of 'Future' series)
  • Refresh key stats on a quarterly basis, collaborating with EM strategy and SRI to integrate new research where relevant.

Supporting EM narrative assets development:
  • 0 keynote and script
  • Teams backgrounds
  • Customer stories
  • Email signatures
  • Social media assets (in collaboration with EM Social media manager)
  • Other supporting assets as and when required
  • Ensure all content is aligned to brand (and project) strategy and guidelines.
  • Drive project to completion: on time, on budget and on specification, with primary focus on meeting the project brief requirements and maintaining overall objectives.
  • As and when required, collaborate with our agencies and studio, managing drafts and tasks, sourcing / providing files and graphics to the vendor
  • Manage EM Comms sharepoint, keeping all files and folders structured and easily accessible.
  • Review marketing analytics relative to content engagement and usage for continuous improvement to better achieve the "ripple effect".
  • In close collaboration with the EM Employee Comms Manager, ensure internal EM content is always accurate and up to date.
  • Have a good understanding of the entire EM portfolio, customers and end markets.
  • Monitor and drive Ops and division collaboration and productivity (content and events).
  • (Maintain strong collaboration/connection with EM divisions in effort to find new content opportunities to strengthen visibility and awareness of the EM / Electricity 4.0 narrative).
  • Coordinate EM level content for owned and third party events
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and market dynamics impacting the evolution towards electricity 4.0. collaboration with SRI, EM Strategy team, analysts, PR agency, IEA etc). Share research 'ingredients' with the team to fuel content for social media, PR and keynotes.
  • Maintain strong collaboration/connection with EM divisions to find new content opportunities to strengthen visibility and awareness of the Electricity 4.0 narrative: Infographics, blog posts, White papers, Articles, Event scripts, high-value content, etc.
  • Create a clear framework and work with all EM comms 'xxx of the Future' to strengthen awareness of the Electricity 4.0 Narrative
  • Understand all EM Hero offers (High Focus) and see how they can plug-in to the EM narrative.
