For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Position: Systems Application Engineer II

Job Summary & Qualifications

This position is typically held by an individual who has at least 2 years' experience in construction of low voltage electrical systems and preferably industry knowledge. This position is responsible for understanding project requirements such as specifications, standards, budgets, schedules and safety. Must be able to conduct project activities on-site related to the coordination, installation and commissioning of building automation and security management systems, and perform work both independently or with other team members. Individual should have working knowledge of HVAC or Security industry applications. This employee typically works under daily supervision of a Project Manager or project Engineer and reports into a Construction Manager.

Responsibilities Include

SAE I Responsibilities, plus....
  • Participate in system startup and commissioning using standard pre-functional checkout process
  • Become a lead field engineering resource on multiple simultaneous small to medium size projects and perform all field engineering responsibilities from mobilization to closeout
  • Gain customer exposure by attending meetings. Report back to the Project Engineer or Project Manager with actions items and any additional deliverables that result from the meeting. Ensure that these items are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Review field sketches for change order exposure and provide feedback to Project manager
  • Cybersecurity: Competency of cybersecurity paradigms (security passwords, configuration) and networking hardware. Ability to attend customer meeting and develop or modify sequences of operation from the conversations.


Education
  • Four (4) year engineering / technical degree or work equivalent work experience
