For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. About the position

Federal Inside Sales - Power Systems

This role combines technical Sales expertise with focus on quotation coordination, bid strategy, and customer support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bill of Material preparation and providing quotations to internal and external customers utilizing sales and technical knowledge of products including Medium Voltage (MV) & Low Voltage (LV) switchgear and switchboards, MV Transformers, Battery Systems, Power Zone Centers, etc. on some of our largest and most complex Data Center projects.
    May be involved in helping to coordinate the bid strategy with outside sales representatives & opportunity owners.
  • Interprets customer requirements and offers solutions that maximize profitability and add value for the customer.
  • May be involved in order handoff process as needed to ensure proper order conversion. Understands, analyzes, documents, and communicates contractual, technical and commercial terms and conditions relative to the company standard.
  • Maintains a current understanding of bid strategies and market conditions.
    Follows up on outstanding quotations to help secure orders, improve quotation process and measure effectiveness.
  • Incorporates use of technological capabilities to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Assists outside sales representatives in the preparation of customer presentations related to the quote, including comments on exceptions and built in value.
  • Processes change orders as needed and works closely with Project Management
  • Handle direct customer inquiries as first level Technical Expert.


Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of quotation/estimation experience
  • Knowledge of Low Voltage Switchboards and Low Voltage Drawout Switchgear
  • Knowledge of Low Voltage systems
  • Experience interfacing with customers and/or commercial experience
  • Knowledge of Medium Voltage systems
  • Knowledge of Medium Voltage Switchgear (5kV to 38kV)

Required skills
  • BA degree (engineering preferred) or equivalent experience
  • SE Advantage Quotation Accuracy
  • Low Voltage Systems
  • Medium Voltage Systems
