Facility Management Expert-Gulf

We are looking for the Facility Management Expert to be responsible for the efficient and compliant operation of Schneider Electric's facilities across the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman. This role ensures that all offices and technical sites are safe, sustainable, and fully aligned with corporate standards. The expert oversees facility maintenance, service contracts, HSE compliance, and renovation projects while coordinating with landlords, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Manage day-to-day operations for multiple Schneider Electric facilities (The NEST HQ, Musaffah, Doha, etc.).
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance through third-party contractors and ensure SLA compliance.
- Coordinate facility-related communication with landlords, service providers, and SE management.
- Oversee general services such as cleaning, and reception staffing.
- Manage CM & PM activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal service delivery.
- Handle lease renewals, terminations, and documentation for all regional sites.
- Support site selection, lease negotiations, and landlord engagement.
- Maintain the lease database and ensure compliance with local real estate regulations.
- Ensure site compliance with Schneider Electric's HSE framework and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the Safety and Security Officers to conduct periodic inspections and risk assessments.
- Promote sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency, waste management, and awareness campaigns.
- Lead or support renovation and fit-out projects, ensuring delivery within cost, time, and quality constraints.
- Coordinate with SE Gulf, SE Oman, SE Qatar, and SE GSC teams for project alignment.
- Follow up on snagging, handovers, and penalty claims where applicable.
- Oversee new site mobilization, ensuring operational readiness and compliance.

- Manage and evaluate third-party service providers (maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, etc.).
- Ensure all service contracts are aligned with company policies and performance KPIs.
- Facilitate PR/PO processes and ensure timely renewals and payments.
- Monitor and report contractor performance, penalties, and non-compliance.
- Maintain effective internal and external communication with landlords, contractors, and SE stakeholders.
- Coordinate with employees for facility announcements and ticketing systems.
- Act as the main focal point for facility escalation and project approvals
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in facility management (multi-site experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of maintenance operations, HSE, and sustainability practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS, RE systems (Planon)
- Knowledge of local building codes, and UAE FM regulations
- Ability to travel across GCC countries
