Your role:
You will join the Global Customer Projects & Services Operations organization, as an expert engineer in Electrical Networks. You will report to Djamila, Manager of the team of 15 people specializing in Electrical Networks and Operational Safety, based in Grenoble (Technopole).

In a motivating technical environment, committed to the safety, availability and quality of our customers' installations, you will bring the expertise of Power Networks to architectures, integrating diversified technologies, for our customers.
Your missions:
- Support our internal project teams and customer services all over the world to cost our proposals for technical studies of electrical networks
- Carry out calculations/engineering studies and numerical modeling of networks (protections, harmonics, Arc flash, surge protection, dynamic stability, lightning, source optimization, etc.) based on customer data and your expertise.
- Formalize detailed reports and participate in their internal and external feedback.
- Offering and carrying out engineering services such as consulting, audit, prescription, on-site customer or remote training
- Support local teams (France, Egypt, Brazil, Slovakia, etc.) to solve customer problems, identify risks, propose solutions and contribute to the prescription of power network studies.
- Participate in defining the concepts of tomorrow's grids (Microgrid, hybrid AC/DC grids, renewable energy integration, storage systems and electric vehicles) and in designing and optimizing Schneider Electric's products and solutions by collaborating with the R&D teams
The position is based in Grenoble (Technopole). You will have to plan some short trips (10%) in France and abroad.
Your profile:
- You have a Master Degree (Engineer), specialty: Electrical Networks and Modeling
- You have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a technical position, ideally in the electrical networks sector.
Your skills:
- Technical :
- Strong general technical knowledge in electrical engineering, private or public power grids
- Knowledge of electrical phenomena and the rules of network design
- A first experience in static, dynamic or transient electrical studies
- Knowledge of simulation software (ATP, EMTP) or calculation software (Etap, Power Factory, SKM)
- You have a sense of service and excellent interpersonal skills, you appreciate teamwork,
- You are curious and attentive to your interlocutors to understand their environment and propose efficient solutions.
- You are assertive to present your analysis with diplomacy and clarity to guarantee your interlocutors a vision of safety issues while considering their points of view.
- You are rigorous and are the guarantor of the quality of the deliverables provided.
- You are comfortable in an international environment.
- Fluent in English and French
