    THT, Core Engineering & Technology:

    Delivers elements of given design for other functions by respect of process and best practices (T3).

    or Designs offers from Technical Specifications to meet Customer Values expectations and Quality goals with respect to Supply Chains constraints (T4 & T5).

    or Develops a strong expertise in Electronics Hardware, in order to reinforce our technical leadership.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Responsibilities

    Fufills technical missions, with autonomy to propose/develop complex solutions in a technical domain. May have hierarchical or functional responsibilities. May provide mentoring, instructions/assistance. Helps establish internal procedures and best practices,. Work is given through general guideline.

    - Performs design of a part of an Electronic Hardware solution.

    - Verify design by carrying out tests and production of prototypes.

    - Experienced in Electronics Hardware design, designs/develops new products and subassemblies contrbuting to the definition of specification and architecture.

    - Leads the upstream phase of teh study (functional analysis) of new products and subassemblies.

    - May have a coordination role for small team of THs scope 2, 3 & 4.

    - Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

    - Typically requires 5 to 8 years of related experience.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Qualifications
    • Solid and proven knowledge in electronics (Power, Analog and digital)
    • Solid and proven knowledge in power conversion and static converter topologies.
    • Ability to work independently on the power conversion part of a drive, from concept to qualification phase (defining architecture, loss calculations, simulations, component specification according to standards, supplier relations, component qualification).
    • Experience in magnetic component design for power (inductors/transformers).
    • Understanding of EMC phenomena and mitigation solutions.
    • Open-mindedness, analytical thinking, flexibility, and the ability to act independently and take responsibility.
    • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong knowledge of simulation tools (Matlab/Simulink, PLECS, Spice).
    • Proficiency in 3D simulation tools (Maxwell, CST, Flotherm, 6SigmaET) is a plus.
    • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with diverse nationalities.
    • Occasional travel within France and abroad may be required.
    • Proficiency in English is essential, French language skills are a plus.
