Our Benalla manufacturing site is located in regional Victoria, 2.5 hours north of Melbourne's CBD. This plant plays a crucial role in our operations, providing energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability . The Benalla plant is a testament to our commitment to local manufacturing and innovation, contributing significantly to the regional economy and offering numerous job opportunities.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced electrical trades professionals to join our growing team in Benalla, Victoria. With the opportunity to leverage your technical experience and passion for all things electrical, you will play a key role as you support the Plant to produce LV/MV equipment, as you enjoy a fresh new career challenge as part of a passionate team of professionals.

Key responsibilities will see you carrying out the following tasks;
  • Wiring and connection of Transformers, Kiosks and Switchgear
  • Completing preventative and corrective site activities
  • Reading, understanding and supporting our Engineering team with drawings and related technical specifications within an environment that is focused on quality
  • Providing technical information and assistance across the wide-range of Schneider Electric equipment and related products
  • Recording accurate information in our systems, adhering to internal processes and other similar requirements
  • Collaborating with varied team members and also mentoring our Apprentices as you make your mark on our future professionals.


About You

You are a highly driven individual seeking to work with a value-based company whose solutions are leading edge. In addition, you possess the following relevant skills and attributes
  • A Grade Electrical License
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a similar manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate with various teams and work autonomously when required
  • A technical aptitude, a curious mindset and a willingness to learn
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and a natural problem-solver / trouble-shooter
  • Demonstrated commitment to all things HS&E and confident in identifying risks
  • Although not essential, those with previous experience with Transformers, Kiosks and Switchgear will be highly regarded
