What will you do?
- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define and drive the product vision for the app, strategy, and roadmap for our IoT mobile applications, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- User Experience: Champion the user experience by gathering user feedback, conducting usability testing, and ensuring the app meets high standards of usability and performance.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including planning, execution, and post-launch optimization.
- Technical Understanding: Collaborate with the engineering team to understand technical challenges and ensure the feasibility of product features.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product, customer engagement and experience and make data-driven decisions.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in IoT, mobile applications, or related fields.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IoT technologies, mobile app development, and cloud services.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion: A genuine interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and innovative technologies.
The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $160,000-$190,000 for candidates who are B.C. residents. Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
