Digital Grid Leader
Role Overview
The Head of Digital Grid Business will lead Schneider Electric's Digital Grid portfolio across Greater India, driving strategic growth, innovation, and operational excellence in solutions such as ADMS, DERMS, SCADA, DMS, GIS, and Low Voltage Analytics. This is a people leadership role, responsible for managing high-performing teams across Sales, Business Development, and Strategic Engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Drive the adoption and success of Digital Grid Solutions including ADMS, DERMS, GIS, Grid Asset Performance, AGMS, and Low Voltage Analytics.
- Expand Schneider Electric's offerings beyond traditional Power & Grid segments into Transportation, Mobility, and Electro-intensive sectors.
- Champion digitization and sustainability through EcoStruxure and other Schneider Electric platforms.
- Define and execute strategic vision for long-term growth and market leadership.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in Sales and Business Development.
- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with Schneider Electric's values and business objectives.
- Promote thought leadership and innovation through C-Level engagement and industry collaboration.
Market Intelligence & Positioning
- Conduct market analysis and customer surveys to identify demand trends and competitive positioning.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with internal divisions to develop innovative, cross-functional solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Representation
- Represent Schneider Electric in industry forums such as IEEMA and with government bodies including CEA, MOP, and Regulatory Commissions.
- Build strategic relationships with policy makers and regulatory authorities to influence energy distribution policies.
Policy Advocacy & Regulatory Engagement
- Actively contribute to national energy policy discussions and digital grid standards.
- Participate in working groups, consultations, and regulatory forums to shape the future of energy distribution.
- Collaborate with CEA, MOP, SERCs, REC, and PFC to advocate for progressive policies and frameworks.
- Influence the development of regulations that support digitization, sustainability, and grid modernization.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work very closely with the Power and Grid Segment team to align strategic initiatives, customer engagement, and solution development efforts.
- Ensure cohesive execution of business goals and maximize the impact of Schneider Electric's Digital Grid offerings.
- Proven experience in leading Digital Grid businesses or similar domains.
- Strong understanding of ADMS, DERMS, SCADA, DMS, GIS, and analytics in energy distribution.
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, strategic planning, and business development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially at the executive level.
- Experience working with Electrical Generation, Transmission, and Distribution companies, as well as REC and PFC.
