Deputy Manager - Energy Analyst
We seek a highly motivated and dynamic Analyst in our Gurgaon office to support our work in electricity and natural gas markets for Australia, Europe and USA.
The selected candidate will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high-quality outputs and services, typically working on multiple projects with our internal team on behalf of our clients. The selected candidate will also have an opportunity to apply experience and academic knowledge, and interact with experts and clients in the field, while continuing to build content knowledge and consulting skills.

Position responsibilities:
As an Energy Analyst, chief responsibilities will be:
• Providing commercial and industrial client Request for Proposal (RFP) process management and support.
• Requesting, gathering and collecting data and authorization forms as needed.
• Supporting Global teams for analytical requirements.
• Producing and performing client specific analysis when required.
• Maintaining or constructing Schneider tools/models.
• Extensive data research. Responsible for maintaining a database of energy related data that must be updated regularly. Data sources include data-providers, industry publications, regulatory agencies and web research.
• Extensive quantitative and industry analysis required for managing clients and assignments.
• Flawless execution and documentation in meeting all deadlines, notifications, procedures, etc., specifically relating to completion of administrative tasks in Sourcing department and relating to administration of customer supply contracts.
• Meet Schneider Electric ESS's work-flow tracking needs by adhering to Sourcing processes.
• Providing budget, rollout, research, query, and tax exemption support.
• Create and issue requested notification letters to Suppliers.
• Aggressive follow-up with Client Managers and suppliers to ensure complete execution of any transactional documents is achieved.
• Utilize tracking system to list all outstanding execution items and resolution status. Must work closely with regional supply teams to note any new or changed documentation.
• Coordination with internal teams to ensure all completed transactions are logged into database.
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Essential skills, qualifications and requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Business Administration
• 0-4 year of experience. Experience in operation roles for power, renewables, fuel or sustainability services
desirable.
• Demonstrate excellent quantitative analysis skills with an interest in energy sector
• Possess the desire to work in a dynamic and
diverse team environment.
• Exceptional data and web research skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with supervisory staff in India and other geographies
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills; especially Excel, Word and Power Point
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Aptitude to quickly learn processes and willingness to strictly adhere to such processes
• Must be organized and with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under strict
deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple assignments at a time
