Are you a detail-oriented and strategic Tender Engineer ready to make a real impact? We are looking for a driven and analytical professional to join our team in Sweden. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the end-to-end bid process, ensuring our proposals are competitive, compelling, and aligned with our business strategy. You'll play a key role in driving success across the Nordics & Baltics Cluster by managing cost, risk, and governance throughout the tendering lifecycle.

As our new Tender Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing RFQs, preparing cost and offer documentation, and coordinating all contributors to deliver winning bids. You'll ensure every submission reflects our strategic goals and meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your work will directly support our growth and customer satisfaction by delivering tailored, value-driven solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Bid Management: Own the full response process for assigned PQQs, quotes, and tenders-ensuring timely, accurate, and strategic submissions.
- Strategic Planning: Analyse RFQs, formulate bid plans, and manage contributor deadlines to align with business goals.
- Cost & Risk Analysis: Prepare cost and sell documentation (CWB/CQA), balancing profitability and risk in line with strategy.
- Governance & Compliance: Schedule and lead approval calls, ensuring all documentation is complete and aligned with internal processes.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling offer documentation that clearly communicates our solution, execution plan, and commercial terms.
- Collaboration: Support Opportunity Leaders during negotiations and coordinate with internal teams for seamless post-order handover.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in win/loss reviews and adopt best practices to enhance future performance.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in tendering, bid management, or a similar commercial engineering role.
- Strong understanding of customer applications and ability to align offers with technical and business needs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with DCS, Safety, PLC, SCADA systems, and AVEVA software is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools like MS Teams, Project, Planner, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric's Customer Project Process (CPP) is a plus.
