Communications & Knowledge Management Manager
Job Summary:
The Communications & Knowledge Management (KM) Manager plays a crucial role in leading, developing and executing the communications strategies, employee traveler engagement campaigns and knowledge management requirements of the SE Global Business Travel Expense (BTEX) Governance organization. This leader will oversee all worldwide SE internal and external communications, develop targeted BTEX program-user messaging, harness BTEX "Engage" presence and communities, enhance BTEX knowledge management and support the BTEX team in putting together compelling business presentations. Developing effective communication strategies, embracing data-driven storytelling, implementing employee engagement activities and launching KM initiatives are crucial to elevating the visibility and value proposition of the SE BTEX organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies and initiatives aligned with the SE Global Business Travel Expense (BTEX) program.
• Harness various communication channels -such as Engage, travel booking and expense tools, company intranet sites, and SharePoint-to proactively engage employees and stakeholders worldwide, and to provide easy access to BTEX program and service information.
• Promote the digitization of BTEX communications and streamline employee access to program and service information through user-friendly digital channels.
• Align BTEX internal communications with Schneider Electric's critical business topics, channels, and timelines, while coordinating employee events and messaging to ensure high visibility across global platforms -including the intranet, Spice+ postings, and other key internal communication activities.
• Apply resourceful research and data-driven storytelling across all BTEX communications and presentations, collaborating with BTEX core team members, functional groups, subject matter experts, and others to create compelling content that reinforces the BTEX value proposition and program direction
• Stay informed and attuned to BTEX business priorities and initiatives to ensure message consistency and the timely communication of critical business and service announcements.
• Develop and deliver timely internal and external BTEX communications in response to emergency incidents
• Empower the BTEX team to effectively communicate with employees and strengthen advocacy through targeted end-user training, program engagement, and the delivery of high-value services.

• Support SE Human Resources, SE Compliance, SE Indirect Procurement, SE Global Security, SE Digital and other BTEX internal partners when needed, to circulate important employee updates and information tied to BTEX program and services.
• Leverage and apply AI in knowledge management to source accurate and up-to-date information, while also ensuring easy access to BTEX program and service information for end-users worldwide.
• Manage all BTEX communications and internal and public-facing information to ensure outdated content is either updated or removed
• Support BTEX VP on core team, interdepartmental and stakeholder communications
• Collaborate with BTEX core team members to craft engaging and innovative content -both written and for live presentations-that aligns with presentation objectives, audience expectations, and the BTEX value proposition, ensuring relevance and impact across diverse target audiences.
• Measure the effectiveness of BTEX communication activities to continuously enhance employee traveler and stakeholder engagement, as well as their understanding of the value BTEX brings to Schneider Electric
• Maintain a strong understanding of internal and external trends, innovations, and developments in business travel, payment, and expense management to ensure strategic alignment and informed communication.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's in Public Relations, Business Communications, Business Administration, Marketing and Digital Media or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years' experience in business communications, marketing, digital media and/or related fields
• Candidates must possess exceptional business English communication skills with relevant experience in effectively conveying complex information across diverse audiences
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Competencies on knowledge management systems and tools (e.g., SharePoint, TEAMS, and other information portals/platforms)
• Proficiency in collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, Yammer/Engage)
• Working knowledge on the use of design and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Technical skills on AI tools for content generation and knowledge sourcing and analytics tools for measuring communication effectiveness
