Your Mission
We are looking for a skilled and strategic leader to head our EcoStruxure Automation Expert Centre of Excellence. You will drive best practices, innovation, and efficiency across all solutions and applications, aligning with our commercial strategy and technology roadmaps. You will work closely with our sales teams to provide technical expertise to our customers and partners, supporting the successful implementation of EcoStruxure Automation Expert.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with automation projects to boost sales growth.
- Technical Expertise: Define and implement the best automation systems.
- Customer Collaboration: Identify customer needs and offer solutions for adopting EcoStruxure Automation Expert.
- Solution Demonstration: Explain and demonstrate the benefits of proposed architectures.
- Solution Development: Create solutions and demos to support the sales team.
Key Responsibilities of the Centre of Excellence Team
- Sales Enablement: Support the sales team in winning customers and projects. Provide solution support to manufacturers, system integrators, and end users. Assist customers in developing their own solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Understand customer challenges and tailor solutions. Lead proof-of-concept projects and pilot deployments.
- Technical Ownership: Design and build solutions. Create technical documentation and guides. Validate large-scale projects.
- Training and Advocacy: Support training needs. Create white papers and case studies. Represent the company in industry forums. Develop technical marketing content.
Deliverables of the Centre of Excellence
- Demos: Build and maintain demo areas. Personalize storytelling to customer needs. Handle Q&A and provide examples.
- Workshops: Host training sessions. Apply design guidelines. Define code structure.
- System Architectures: Implement and test solutions. Present outcomes to customers.
- Project Support: Support customers and integrators in project execution. Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Document processes and changes. Create use cases and success stories. Share knowledge and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of Automation Expert initiatives.
- Maintain regular communication with sales leaders and key stakeholders to align strategies and priorities.
- Build and sustain trust and collaboration with the global industry team, integrating commercial initiatives and growth strategies into local activities.
- Act as the primary contact for Automation Expert-related topics, including escalations and feature prioritization.
- This role requires a collaborative and proactive leader capable of fostering strong relationships across technical, commercial, and regional teams while ensuring strategies are effectively executed at every level

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated individual with a "must win" mindset. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team. You must be an early adopter and bring technical intensity to drive sales growth. While this is a technical role, you must understand the role of technical teams in the sales cycle.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams for more than 3 years.
- Embedded software engineering background is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Industrial Internet of Things and the convergence between IT and operational technology.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, Windows and Linux development, Docker/Kubernetes/Swarm, virtualization, event-driven methodology, and C# programming for human-machine interface integration.
- Networking experience with LAN, WAN, VLAN, managed switches, routers, and communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Modbus, EthernetIP, Profinet, HTTPS, and MQTT.
- Experience with programming languages like C/C++, Python, and JavaScript is advantageous.
- Ability to apply code development and design system architecture for industrial applications on the factory floor and plant to control equipment and processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, PROFINET, and EtherNet/IP.
- Deep expertise in programmable logic controller programming, supervisory control and data acquisition/distributed control systems, and industrial networking.
- Extensive experience in designing and deploying large-scale automation solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts for engineers, customers, and executives.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging both technical and business audiences.
- 5 years of experience in automation solution development and programming.
- Expertise in industrial automation and solution architecture.
- Understanding of the automation market, including hardware and software.
- Ability to integrate new technology into existing systems.
- Strong commercial acumen to support the sales team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Travel
- This role will require approximately 30-50% travel.
