Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Business Finance Controller (Data Center Systems) in Nashville, Boston or Dallas.
Join our team as a Business Finance Controller where you will oversee the financial performance and control of our Data Center Systems Business. In this role, you will focus on managing the end-to-end P&L, ensuring our financial health and growth. You will engage in pipeline management and forecast modeling, driving and supporting financial rolling forecasts in collaboration with our commercial and finance organizations. Additionally, you will own support function cost analysis, forecasting, and strategic initiatives, including investments and cost-saving measures for North America Secure Power. What will you do?
Working closely with all functions within the organization, you will:
• Report on the financial performance of the Data Center Systems Business.
• Support business leaders and sales teams to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
• Work with the Cloud and Service Provider Team to support Secure Power within the segment
• Help develop short- and long-term strategies for the finance team.
• Support reporting requirements (Actuals & Planning), including:
• Collaborating with business managers to develop monthly and quarterly forecasts.
• Engaging in the monthly close process and maintaining visibility through regular communication with business leaders.
• Working closely with Accounting, FP&A, local managers, and staff to ensure data integrity.
• Analyzing business unit results (Orders, Sales, and Gross Margin) and explaining variances.
• Supporting audits of various rebate programs.
• Providing ad hoc financial analysis as required.
• Offering financial and commercial advice.
• Driving finance transformation topics and supporting business transformations.
• Handling other finance duties within the reasonable scope of the role.
• Collaborating with GSC and Inventory Planning teams to secure the right inventory for the business, including analyzing past volumes and forecasting future unit requirements.
• Presenting results to the business and providing actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with LOB to ensure a smooth new product phase in/Phase out within the region.
• Working with the North America (NAM) Inventory Costing team to ensure costs are properly updated in the ERP.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- 4 to 7 years of experience in financial roles, including financial analysis, FP&A, Finance Business Partnership
- Experience in large project controlling and account decision-making/modeling.
- Strong technical background.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience) is essential.
- Experience in a matrix structure within a multinational manufacturing organization.
- Experience in implementing change.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and multitasking
- Hands-on approach and the ability to drive for results.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
